OK, maybe you can afford $60-$70 wipers. But there are some people out there that live far away from the dealers, they are not savy with internet ordering or just refuse to get them from the dealer for some personal reason. This articles is for those that want to spend no more than $30 on the wiper blades.

To start with, Panamera requires a 23″ and a 21″ wiper blades. But any wiper blade will not work as a direct swap because one of the wipers is curved and the other one has a special spoiler installed on the wiper.

This article basically explains how to change your wiper “rubber blades” using blades from local auto parts store.

1. So what I did is went to local auto parts store and got a 24″ and 21″ Bosch ‘Micro Edge Blades’ wiper blades.  All panamera blades are made by Bosch. Problem is that you will not find a curve blades or you will not find a 23″ lenght blades.  So what you do is get a 24″ blade and cut it to size. Get a Bosh Micro Edge 40724 and a 40721. They cost about $14 each.

2. Take the wipers your just bought and remove the rubber blades out of them.

3. Take the old wipers and remove the old rubber blades but keep the metal pieces that shape the rubber to the wiper and stiffen them up.

4. Insert the metal rods in the new rubber blades to give them shape and so that they can slide easily to the wiper. Then just slide the new pieces onto the wiper.

That’s it. It takes 2 minutes to do that for $30.
